This round circle of concrete sprouts grass from the cracks in it. It seems like it has been there forever, but once was a water storage tower. Today, it sports a monument honoring Fallen Heroes.

This is where the Standpipe used to be–the water tower connected with the filtration plant down Summit St. where your Granddad reigned. For some reason they tore it down when they built the big one at Outwater Park.
