It’s not a music podcast. It’s a talk show. With music. It’s streamed weekly and available as a podcast as well and it’s the funniest show on the net.
It’s about two hours long, which makes for a big download. Don’t even try unless you have broadband. But it’s worth it. This show is professional quality. If I had a radio station with a morning “zoo” type show, I’d save some money, fire the announcers and put this on instead! It’s better than those shows. It’s funny without insulting your intelligence.
Red Bar Radio is an example of the potential of podcasting to a wide audience. Suree there are a lot of opportunities for narow-casting to niche audiences and podcasting is great for that. But this is an example of how podcasting can rival or surpass commercial radio.
