Once again we’re two weeks away from the first Thursday at the Square event and Buffalo Place is just getting around to letting us know who will be there. I don’t know why it’s such a big secret. I’d think that the sooner it was promoted, the better for everyone.

We are back from our trip to Minnesota. We had a great time and extended the trip a couple of days.

We didn’t try to make the whole trip home in one leg, so we went as far as the Indiana-Ohio border and found a hotel room there. We decided to stop in Cleveland on the second leg of the trip and visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bobbi had never been there. I have been there twice, yet had never really seen it as well as I wanted to either. Both times there had been as part of the FIRST Robotics regional competitions we went to. I went to a concert last night. Not my usual low-budget bar-crawl, but a real show in a real concert hall – Rockwell Hall at Buffalo State College.

I saw Roger McGuinn, best known as a founder of The Byrds, although that seems so inadequate a way of describing his talent and influence on modern music. (Even though my wife didn’t know who he was…) I have been wanting to see him for a while now. He played the same venue a year or so ago, but I couldn’t get clear to go. Continue Reading…
